Lost and Falling

Exhausted.
Step in.
See the house.
Where is everyone now?
I'm looking all over here.
They are nowhere in this place.
I am all alone in this world.
Sometimes I know I can't go on anymore.
Sometimes those feelings that I cannot take another step
Creep up, drowning my eyes in lost thoughts and places.
The bed calls, a silent siren song of squeaky
Mattress coils, smooth cotton sheets, and a long rest.
The bed calls, shouting my name silently,
As I work towards my oblivion.
Bed calls, and I answer.
Softly I stand away.
Softly I rise.
Softly now.
Collapse.

Sleep deprivation is a wonderful thing, no?

I feel: x_x tired
