On the other hand...

I care deeply about the state's bans on gay marriage and civil unions. Why, why, why?! These people aren't hurting you. They're not affecting the economy, nor taking jobs. They're not killing your children or robbing banks. Why keep them from one of the most basic rights, afforded to people everywhere on this earth? A marriage is a lasting bond - let them express their love and devotion.

I can say this: over the past four years, I have slipped from a Republican standpoint to that of a liberal. The Republicans have been corrupted by everything that makes our country weak, including bible-beating rednecks who have nothing better to do than complain about people of other races and interfere in people's lives. The "tax the poor, spare the rich" corporate facemen run our government today, and we did it to ourselves! They put the gun to our head, and we pulled our own damn trigger. I anticipate massive rallies, protests, and riots over upcoming policy. This will make Seattle look like a fucking cakewalk.
