USF? WTF?

My interview down here in Sunshine Land went really well. I had the opportunity to interview with people at the CRASAR (Center for Robotic Assisted Search And Rescue) and at USF - I'm applying, and if all the indications are true, I'll be accepted - An RA, being paid to get my Ph.D.

And they pay for my trip down here.

Holy crap. =0 I'm really excited and kinda scared... it's that jittery feeling I told myself I wouldn't get after I left for college from high school, but it's the same one I had then.

Anticipation mixed with worry. =) Eh, now for the real question: Who will come visit me in Tampa? The beach is a short distance away! =P

Past that, Florida is... well, Florida. Kinda boring, very relaxing. I've been spending my time watching LotR and sleeping in. Lucky me. =D

Anyways, I miss my peeps, so I hope to see you when I return to the Great White North come Decemeber 28th. New Year's this year will also include a dinner, so I want to hear what people want to eat! I miss cooking, here's a chance for me to catch up. =)
