Ooo...
Ah, I forgot to tell everyone this before - most of my family has converted back to a Mac house.
My mom's new laptop is a beautiful little 12" Powerbook of Doom.
And my parent's/family's new home box is a Mac Mini I call "HalfCube".
*sigh* HalfCube. How I love your silent little rectangular prismness.
'sides that, my main system is on the frizzzt - breaking better each day. I'm starting to work on getting a new one together - maybe a watercooled system. Hot. =D
Cooler actually, but hot in reference to how cool it... aw never mind.
And the "Untethered Rebirth of Light" or "PHOENIX" is still running strong. Go Toshiba Laptops, GO!

a mini-mac? way to half-ass it. why not just revert back to the snail-mail days and call email "way to technical". If you want to be one of many apple users who are only trying it for the fad, just get an ipod shuffle. considering the greatness of a mac, I dont see how anyone who claims to live in a mac house would stop at a mini---whats the point if you dont know what your getting and why you would buy one in the first place. If you knew what a mac was for, you wouldnt stop at something with only 1GB memory just because suddenly the greater american average joes are following the apple fad.
Bloggers...see, this is the random stuff I need to respond too. mac abuse, such a waste...

yes, he should spend $3000+ on a G5 for his parents not including the apple cinema display LCD, so they can check E-mail and cruise the web. Good call.
O, and he has had mac's before, he had a pre-powerPC mac (monitor and computer as one, caddy drive CD-ROM) and then an early PowerPC mac.
