An extremely close friend of Kari's and a friend of mine, Patricia, passed away on Friday.
She died from bacterial meningitis - something that makes me too angry for words. Treatable if caught early, she was forced to wait 12-14 hours after the onset of symptoms before seeing a doctor.
I was just beginning to get to know her better, and these glimpses of her amazing personality is what I will miss the most.
My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

Wow.... I'll pray for you, Kari, the family and all those that knew her.....
I don't know what to say that wont sound trite..... I'll just say that I'm sad and I hardly knew her, I can't imagine how you guys feel... Dieing at a young age from something that's treatable.... fuck...........
